Our award-winning dog grooming salon has over 15 years of experience providing exceptional care. We offer a range of services, including full grooms, teeth cleaning, and nail clipping, all while prioritizing animal welfare and using state-of-the-art facilities.
Emma opened Mucky Pups in July 2020, in the middle of the global pandemic - a decision she didn't regret! With the help of our amazing customers, the salon grew bigger and better to the nationally recognised salon it is today.

Emma and her team pride themselves on being fully level 3 qualified, insured and also fully trained in canine first aid. Emma and her team have specialist skills in dealing with nervous, anxious and young dogs making sure your dogs have the very best time with us. Emma
Emma, the owner and founder of Mucky Pups! She has been in the grooming industry for over 12 years, previously a veterinary care assistant. She hold a Level 2 & Level 3 City and Guilds Diploma in Dog Grooming, as well as various other certificates in education, dog handling, bite prevention and canine first aid. Emma specialises in breed standard grooms, hand stripping and also regularly competes in dog grooming competitions. She is the head tutor here at Mucky Pups Training Academy, and holds different teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS & Level 4 City and Guilds Licentiateship. Emma owns 2 dogs, Lola a Jack Russell Terrier & Lilly a Lhasa Apso who I regularly compete with in dog grooming competitions
Our Grooming Journey
​Amie has joined the salon in March 2021. She holds the iPET Network Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming & Salon Management. She keeps the salon running and is always keeping up with our salons high standards. Amie is also a tutor at the Mucky Pups Training Academy, holding her Award in Education and Training, as well as being the head tutor in the Canine Oral Hygiene qualifiction. Amie has 2 Collies Ash & Clem and also a Pomeranian called Ozzy!
Hannah joined Mucky Pups part time in November 2024, and now is a full time member of the team! Hannah has completed her Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management, and also wants to become a tutor in the training academy in the future. Hannah has become a friendly face in the salon with customers and dogs and has a beautiful positive and patient approach with some of our more nervous dogs. Hannah has a Shihtzu at home called Reggie
